Tango, anyone? 💃🏽Come find out what Argentine Tango feels like when you’re the one dancing it ✨Bangalore Tango Academy is hosting a beginner-friendly, queer exclusive workshop right here at Beku, led by a pioneer teacher with 20+ years of experience (since 2006), trained under grand masters in Buenos Aires, Argentina.A few things to note:Two left feet? You’re absolutely welcome. No experience needed. Flying solo? No partner required. Queer Exclusive: This workshop is a queer-centric event, and everyone learns both lead and follow roles, regardless of gender. Partner rotation is part of the fun, so come ready to dance with the group.About the facilitator: Roopa’s dance journey, spanning 20+ years, began with classical Bharatnatyam in childhood, expanded into Bollywood through school and college, and moved into Latin styles in 2006 with Salsa before focusing on Argentine Tango. She trained internationally under master teachers and continues to study in Buenos Aires every other year, dancing in traditional milongas. Because she firmly believes that being a good dancer is completely different from knowing how to teach, she ensures her own training never stops.
