If you crave connection, wholesome conversations, and cosy meet-ups with other book lovers, this is the place to be!Toffee & Talk Book Club is a cosy little community of book lovers celebrating incredible literature from around the world. It’s a safe space for literary fiction lovers who enjoy reading together and talking about books in a warm, relaxed setting. Every month, we pick a book, read it together on the Fable app or WhatsApp (our free online community), and then gather for an in-person meet up at the end of the month to discuss, play, and connect.About this month's book: The Bookshop Woman by Nanako HanadaA bookseller in Tokyo is navigating a personal crisis. She downloads an app called 'Perfect Stangers' and starts meeting people and recommending them books that might change their lives. It's a cosy and charming, bookish memoir about unexpected connections, starting over, and the magic of finding the right book at the right time.How does this book club work? We'll have fun ice-breakers, guided book-of-the-month discussions, bookish games, and engage in some fun reading journal and activities to keep things interesting. You will also receive cute book marks and a custom-made zine to take away!
