Calm Your Wits Quizzing is a Bengaluru-based quizzing collective that curates and hosts engaging, beginner-friendly pub quizzes across India. Founded by quizmaster Sanket Mandal, they have expanded beyond the Bengaluru quizzing circuit to host regular events in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, and even London. Launched with the intention of avoiding the intimidating archetype of traditional academic trivia, their style leans towards long-form questions, with lots of clues and audio-visual elements thrown in to help participants arrive at the answer.

Quizmaster Sanket also draws heavily from humour on social media, and uses tweets, Instagram reels, and memes to make questions on even the most serious of topics, as a way to remind people that all that doomscrolling can actually come in handy, and that knowledge can come from anywhere if we’re open to the possibilities.
