Demystifying the P word - Poetry Workshop

Do you find poetry inaccessible, opaque, difficult to read and appreciate?
As the oldest form of literature, right from the oral tradition, poetry has always been the way humans told their stories. From Gilgamesh to Homer, from Kalidasa to Wordsworth, from Neruda to Akhmatova, poetry has brought us tales of love and loss and beauty and war.
If you want to explore poetry, learn ways to break it down, understand its nuances, its special code, its peculiar love language, then join us as we run you through a selection of poems that let you develop a set of hacks that you can employ when you read your next poem.
Whether you are just curious, a poetry enthusiast still trying to figure it out, or a poet hoping to expand your writing horizon, there is something here for you to listen to, learn from, and laugh with. Come, hear the stories behind the poems and the poems behind the stories.
