About
Build & Experiment with a Handmade Pinhole Camera 🎞️
Long before lenses and megapixels, there was the camera obscura—a simple box, a pinhole, and the magic of light painting an image. In this workshop with artist Stuti Bansal, you’ll make your own camera obscura from scratch, explore the principles of analogue image-making, and develop unique photographs using light-sensitive paper.
You’ll get to:
* Build your own working camera obscura
* Learn the science & history behind the camera obscura
* Experiment with capturing and developing images
* Take home your handmade camera + prints you create
Who is it for?
Artists, photographers, makers, students, and anyone curious about analog photography and light-based art. No prior experience required.
