The Dasara Lecture Series 2026 ends with "The Evolving Brain: Music, Culture and Civilization" by Dr Deepti Navaratna (NIAS), a musician and neuroscientist who founded the Raaga Laboratory. She traces how music shaped the human brain and our cultures, using Indian classical music, raga, tala and the guru–shishya tradition as a lens.
