A Workshop by Tushar Pandey
This workshop explores the immense possibilities of the performer’s body and mind, and the relationship between the body, space and the world around us. Through observation, physical exploration and play, participants will draw from the rhythms, movements, textures and dynamics of nature, objects, people and spaces, allowing these external influences to become internal impulses and material for performance.
The work moves between the external and the internal: what moves us, what creates an impulse, and how physical sensation can lead to emotion, sound, words and eventually images.
Imagination and physicality become tools for exploring different theatrical languages, from realistic text and dramatic composition to epic storytelling and grotesque or comic worlds.
