Meet India's first transgender RJ, Priyanka 📻 | Transgender Visibility Week Session

Children and communities are shaped by the voices they hear and the representation they see around them. From community radio to national media forums, powerful lived experiences are changing how we understand equity, representation, and inclusive livelihoods.

Join the*spark for a special session during Transgender Visibility Week featuring RJ Priyanka—India's first transgender radio jockey, activist, and changemaker who works to create dignified livelihoods for trans people.
No standard lectures or distant presentations. Just an experiential, human-library space to listen, learn from real-life journeys, ask questions, and explore what inclusive livelihoods look like in practice.

You should attend if you…
Work in the impact sector, social entrepreneurship, or with NGOs and funders.
Are curious about what inclusive livelihoods for transgender people look like in practice.
Want to move beyond a single week of awareness to build lasting opportunities and trans talent visibility.
Want to engage in open conversation without needing any prior technical background.

What you'll take away
A first-hand account of RJ Priyanka's inspiring journey in broadcasting and community activism.
Practical ideas and fresh perspectives on building inclusive, dignified livelihoods.
Space to share reflections, engage in a moderated Q&A, and connect with the*spark community.
A concrete "awareness to action" commitment to take forward after the session.

What makes this different?
This session uses a Human Library and real-life journey approach, meaning everyone participates through reflection, conversation, and active engagement rather than passive listening.

Whether you're exploring inclusive practices for the first time or actively designing opportunities in the impact sector, there is something valuable to learn from everyone's experience.
