About

Visual storytelling has always been a medium of documentation, communication and expression. While comics give voice to the voiceless, and articulates the ridicule we feel vis-Γ -vis the errors of power structures, it is also important to observe that a few bodies fall through the cracks of representation. Who decides who gets omitted? Who decides that every medium should follow standards set by the mainstream? Who defines these standards of what represents good or evil? And why shouldn’t comics question and redefine these standards?

Join us for a walkthrough by Neelima Aryan from the Design Team at MAP for a final walkthrough of the exhibition A Moving Line: 1500 Years of Indian Visual Storytelling.Β
