Join us for a walkthrough of our latest exhibition, Reimagining the Muraqqa led by collector and artist, Waswo X. Waswo and Chirag Kumawat. Drawing on his personal collection, generously gifted to MAP, Waswo will share the journeys, encounters, and decisions that brought these works together.
From paintings acquired as “antiquities” to works that have come to reveal layered histories of making, collecting, and looking, this walkthrough offers a rare opportunity to hear the collector’s and artist's perspectives on the exhibition and the ideas and artistic traditions that inform it.
